How Coinimas protects the account

User protection

Coinimas is built so that a balance moves only when a real deposit arrives, a trade settles, or you send coins to another Coinimas user. This page says what that means in practice. It does not copy another company’s protection site, and it does not claim certificates Coinimas has not earned.

Storage

  • Coins credited to you sit in the Coinimas ledger under your user id.
  • A small hot wallet pays withdrawals. Its backup phrase is sealed on the server. Staff cannot read it from the house desk.
  • Amounts above the hot reserve are sent to cold addresses. Those addresses are receive-only on Coinimas. The private key of the cold wallet is not on the Coinimas server. You refill the hot wallet from that cold wallet yourself when withdrawals need it.
  • Coinimas does not claim that “most” customer coins are already in cold storage on a given day. The reserve target is about 2,000 US dollars in the hot wallet. The rest is what the cold move actually sent.

Checks before money leaves

  • An on-chain withdrawal asks for Google Authenticator, a passkey, the fund password, an email code, and a phone code. All of them must match. The fund password is different from the login password.
  • A login from a new device asks for an email code.
  • You pay the network fee. The platform fee is a percentage taken from the amount and moved to the profit wallet.

What you should turn on

  • Google Authenticator, a passkey, a fund password, and a phone number. Without them an on-chain withdrawal will not send.
  • A unique login password, typed twice at signup, that you do not reuse on email.
  • Do not type a seed phrase into Coinimas, into email, or into a chat. Coinimas will never ask for one.

If something looks wrong

Email support@coinimas.com from the account email and say “freeze”. Coinimas can freeze trading and withdrawals while it checks. A freeze is not a finding of guilt. Unauthorised account changes (email, password, authenticator) are a reason to freeze first and ask second.

Coinimas can help trace a Coinimas withdrawal by its ledger id and the chain transaction. Coinimas cannot reverse a chain transaction that has already confirmed, and it cannot recover coins sent to a wrong address you typed. If the loss happened on another website, Coinimas can only preserve records a law-enforcement request later asks for.

Compliance work that sits next to protection

  • Know your customer and anti-money laundering
  • Sanctions: Coinimas refuses people and places it is not allowed to serve.
  • A valid law-enforcement request is answered through compliance@coinimas.com. Coinimas does not publish other customers’ cases, recovery amounts, or vendor logos as if they were its own.
