Terms of use
These terms are a contract between you and Coinimas for the website at coinimas.com and the apps that use the same account. Coinimas is a custodial exchange: coins you deposit are held for you in Coinimas wallets and shown as a balance in your name. Coinimas is not a bank, and a balance is not a bank deposit or a government-insured account.
1. Who can open an account
- You must be at least 18 and able to enter a contract where you live.
- You open the account in your own name. You do not open it for someone else unless Coinimas has approved a company account in writing.
- One person, one account. Extra accounts can be closed.
- You must give a real email, a password you type twice, and later the identity documents Coinimas asks for.
- People and places that Coinimas cannot serve because of sanctions or local law are refused. Coinimas can refuse an account without giving a detailed reason when the law requires that silence.
2. What you agree by creating an account
By ticking the box on the signup page you agree to these Terms, the Privacy notice, the User protection page, and the Anti-money laundering policy. If you do not agree, do not create an account.
3. Your money
- A balance goes up only when a deposit is seen on the blockchain and credited, when another Coinimas user sends you coins, or when a trade settles. You cannot credit yourself from the app.
- You can withdraw coins you actually hold, after the checks on that withdrawal. The sender pays the network fee. Coinimas also takes the platform fee shown before you confirm. That fee is moved to the Coinimas profit wallet. It is not created from nothing.
- Spot trades pay a fee, shown before you trade, taken from the coins you receive. The default is 0.10%. It can be set between 0% and 5% and is published in the trade ticket.
- On-chain withdrawals need all of these, and they must match: Google Authenticator, a passkey, the fund password (it is not the login password), the email code, and the phone code.
- P2P ads in local currency can be posted only by a verified user. An unverified user cannot buy or sell on P2P.
- Coinimas can freeze an account that looks stolen, hacked, or used for crime. A freeze stops trading and withdrawals until the review ends.
4. What is live and what is only an application
- Spot balances, deposits, withdrawals, and internal transfers that the app marks as completed are live ledger entries.
- A Pay card is created by Marqeta, not by Coinimas inventing a number. While the keys are the Marqeta sandbox, the card is a test card: a shop will not accept it, and no plastic is mailed. A live Marqeta program is what ships a physical card and lets a merchant charge a virtual card. Cashback and wallet buttons stay off until that live program is issuing cards.
- eSIM, gift cards, bank transfer, and shop orders are requests. They are filled only after Coinimas confirms payment and stock. A picture of a product is not a promise that it is in stock.
- The Web3 tab can create a wallet on your device. Coinimas does not receive or store the recovery words. You can lose those coins if you lose the words, forget the device password, or send coins to the wrong network. Pool quotes and dApps are third-party data. Opening one leaves Coinimas. Coinimas does not send the swap for you.
- Prices on the board are indications for trading on Coinimas. They are not a promise of a price on another exchange.
5. Risk
Crypto prices move fast and can go to zero. You can lose the entire amount you deposit. Network delays, chain reorganisations, and wrong addresses can lose coins permanently. Coinimas does not give investment, tax, or legal advice. You decide what to trade.
6. Your duties
- Keep the login password, fund password, authenticator, and passkey to yourself. Coinimas staff will never ask for the fund password or the 12-word backup of any wallet.
- Use a device you control. A new device asks for an email code.
- Tell Coinimas at support@coinimas.com if you think the account is no longer yours.
- Do not use Coinimas to hide the source of money, to evade sanctions, to scam another person, or to move money for someone you do not know.
7. Stopping the service
Coinimas can pause a coin, a market, deposits, or withdrawals when a chain is unstable, when a review is open, or when the law requires it. You can ask to close the account after the balance is withdrawn or is zero. Some records stay, as the Privacy notice explains.
8. Liability
Coinimas is liable for coins it credited to you and then lost through its own failure to follow these terms, except where the law does not allow that limit. Coinimas is not liable for your lost password, a wrong address you typed, a chain failure, a market loss, or a service that was clearly marked as an application and not yet issued. Nothing in these terms removes a right that a consumer law in your country says cannot be removed.
9. Changes and contact
If these terms change in a way that reduces your rights, Coinimas will show the new date on this page before the change applies to new orders. Continued use after that date is acceptance. Questions: legal@coinimas.com. Privacy questions: privacy@coinimas.com and dpo@coinimas.com. Financial-crime questions: compliance@coinimas.com.
